Setting a Date

Have you ever been set for a blind date? My friends are actually encouraging and used to set me up for a blind date. Actually, i never attended any of those dates except last month because they really forced me to. The date turned out great and the girl I met was really friendly and cute. I never met her prior to our date and I have no idea about her actually. Well, I'm happy that we're friends now but I don't think i can extend our relationship much further especially now that I've heard that she's now dating someone. That's pretty fine with me and on the first place, I am really not in to this Blind date thing. For me, it is very important to know the person first before inviting her for a date. I took date as a serious matter. If I am going to date someone, then I want to make sure that she's the one that I am going to be with forever.
Actually, I preferred those dating website other than setting me up for a date to someone I am not familiar with. Dating websites will allow you to make your own profile, and meet other people online. Of course, most of this people are singles because they will not be on that site on the first place if they're already committed to someone right? Interestingly, most of them are free dating websites which offer a lot of wonderful features like chat, video calls and a whole lot more. I have friends who have met their partner online and this could also be my chance. Who knows right? The right girl is probably waiting for me on the other side of the cyber world. Cool.

How Technology Changed the Way we Communicate

It is very interesting to know how much improvement technology does in the way we communicate. Remember those days where people are communicating to each other through mails and telephone? I remember my mom keep on telling me how my dad get in touch with her despite of their long distance relationship during their teenage years. Pen pal is quite popular back then where both lovers will write down series of letters to each other and mail it directly to their addresses. Same thing goes with the so-called "Phone Pal". As what the term suggest, both lovers will try to get in touch with each other via phone calls. Usually, they spend huge amount of time over the phone chit chatting about everything.
Nowadays, we are so lucky that technology brought us some innovative ways on how to communicate to each other. We now have cellular phones that allows us to call or send text massages to each other no matter where we are. On top of that, we can now also use the Internet to communicate in a much easier way. In fact, dating has made easier through Internet.

It's Time for A Change

An invitation came to me by surprise a week ago. My cousin will be getting married this coming September and I am not expecting that it will happen very soon. It seems that it was just yesterday when he broke up with his long term girlfriend and asking for my advice and then all of the sudden, here comes a letter inviting me to attend his wedding. Time runs out so fast indeed and we can never tell what will happen the day after today.
Anyway, I am so happy for this wonderful news brought by my cousin and I wish all the best and success for him and for his wife to .
I seldom share my personal life here but to be honest, I would like to experience the same thing as my cousin. You can't just blame me for dreaming of such thing because I am just a simple guy and I am not getting any younger as well. I know for the fact that the time will come that I am going to marry a girl and I'm going to spend my lifetime with her.
I have to admit that my last relationship didn’t work well and after that, i decided not to enter any relationship yet and focus more on my other responsibilities. I am the breadwinner in my family and I am responsible for taking care of my parents and my siblings. But I guess I've done great enough for them and it's time for me to prioritize my personal life. Actually some of my friends are setting me up on some blind dates but i keep on refusing them because i would rather go with online dating service than meeting someone immediately without any knowledge about her. That’s one of the advantages of online dating sites. Aside from giving you opportunity to meet other people online, it gives you a chance to know them deeper. http://www.freedatingsiteforwoman.com/ for an instance is a nice website to begin with for women who are aiming to meet new friends or companions online.

Ideal Finishing Material

A house can be more appealing especially if the flooring is clean and well polished. The materials can be a big plus factor too. Different finishing materials can be used for our floor and all of them are undeniably great and will surely make your house more appealing but we cannot deny the fact that these materials will vary not just on how the way they look but also in quality as well.
Our house for an instance has a ceramic tile finishing. We are very pleased with the outcome and its artistic style. However, despite of its great appearance we never thought that it could be very sensitive because tiles are quite brittle as if whenever a strong force is applied, it will break easily and it will leave us no choice but to hire another worker to replace it. Perhaps, maybe we have hired the wrong worker. The tiles are probably not installed properly making its foundation weak and brittle.
Anyway, we might consider changing the materials soon if the time and budget will allow us. Aside from ceramic tiles, there are some notable materials too that can be used effectively for finishing. Quarts , marble and granite are few of the most ideal material because they are not just immensely beautiful but they also provide extremely satisfying quality and long lasting durability. Same thing with polished concrete flooring which makes your house more appealing and it will provide a quality that is way far beyond your expectation. Choosing the right finishing material is indeed a necessity because it will not just make your house look inviting but it will also add more value to it.

Natural Beauty

A Filipina has her own distinct quality that can't be found to other female all over the world. Their complexion for an instance is fair which is certainly a good quality for a perfect woman. They're skin are not too white or pale nor not too dark as well. No wonder why most Americans used to tan their skins because they find our skin immensely beautiful. As far as height is concerned, Filipino women are quite short not too much. Our average height is perfect enough to make us shine.
We are great speakers too because we can manage to speak English fluently which is also a big advantage for us. This is the reason why most BPO companies are aiming for our country because of our great skills. Filipino women are very talented too and we have several artists who became popular internationally including Charice, Lea Salongga, Nicole Scherzinger and even the American Idol 2012 Runner up Jessica Sanchez. These girls made our country proud and they were able to showcase their talent perfectly. Generally, Filipino women is indeed your ideal type of girl.
Of course, every races has something nice to offer too. The russian girls for an instance has an above average height which is pretty much attractive to most men. They have gorgeous eyes and perfect skin tone too. Don't be surprised why most Russian beauties won most of the International beauty pageant including Miss Universe.

Aiming for my dream house

I've been working since I was 17 and I was able to save good enough money for my future expenses though i don't think it is great enough for me to afford my own house yet. It has been an ultimate dream for me to buy my own house but I just don't have the opportunity to do so due to financial reason. I am my family's breadwinner and I have to shoulder almost everything at home that's why I can't save enough money for my dream.
But I'm sure, eventually, I can purchase a house of my own. I just have to work hard for it and pray that dream to become a reality.
A friend of mine advised me to apply for a house loan for a much quicker process. Honestly, I am always been intrigued about home loans and the benefits you can gain from them in return. I was once offered by an agency to try their loan but since I do not have any idea about it, i decided to refuse that offer though it seems to sound very interesting to me. They said that Home loan can help homebuyers to get money to finance the home purchase which is ideal enough for someone like me who's been aiming to buy his dream house. Now, I better find a well trusted lender to ask more about the process.

More about Carly

Carly Rae Jepsen rose to an international stardom through her smash hit "Call Me Maybe". It is an upbeat pop track that draws influences from dance-pop and disco. Lyrically, the track alludes to the inconvenience that a love at first sight brings to a girl who hopes for a call back from a crush. "Call Me Maybe" was met with much success, reaching the number one spot on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. The single also went to number 1 in Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom. In general, her single is undeniably successful, however, prior to this hit, who is Carly Rae Jepsen and who brought her to the music mainstream?
Jepsen attended Heritage Park Secondary School in Mission, British Columbia and has since performed there post-graduation. She later attended the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, BC before auditioning for Canadian Idol. She joined the said competition way back 2007 and placed 3rd.
On June 16, 2008, Jepsen released her debut single and another single, a cover of John Denver's song "Sunshine On My Shoulders". It is the only cover song on her debut album.

(Carly Rae Jepsen ~ Sunshine on My Shoulders)

On July 21, 2008, Jepsen added two new songs from the album to her MySpace page: "Bucket" and "Heavy Lifting". In August 2008, Jepsen's MySpace page announced that the album's title would be Tug of War, and it was released on September 30, 2008. The page also mentioned two more songs that were included on the album: "Tug of War" and "Sweet Talker".

(Carly Rae Jepsen ~ Tug of War)
Jepsen's second album Curiosity was released on February 14, 2012. It was produced by Ryan Stewart and Kevin James Maher produced the track "Dear Julien". On the same day as the release, Justin Bieber made the announcement on the MuchMusic program New Music Live that Jepsen has been signed to Schoolboy Records, the label run by Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun. (source : Wikipedia)
Justin Bieber manages Carly alongside his own manager Scooter Braun, and Carly says that he has had a huge hand in helping her get to where she is! (reference: disneydreaming.com)
Call Me Maybe received generally positive reviews from contemporary critics, who praised its composition and clever lyrical content, while deeming it a new summer hit.
"Call Me Maybe" has attained commercial success worldwide and is already one of the biggest hits of 2012, reaching number one in Australia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States, while peaking inside the top five in Austria, Belgium (Flanders), Germany, Netherlands, Norway and Poland. After reaching the top position in Canada, Jepsen became only the fifth Canadian artist to do so in her home country since 2007. In the United States, the track has reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Pop Songs chart. The song is the first number one by Canadian female artist since 2007's "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Call Me Maybe is indeed a massive hit. Let's just hope that Carly will be able to maintain her music career for long. Remember that Ke$ha had her spotlight during her "Tik Tok" days but immediately lost her limelight afterwards.

Donna Summer Tribute

LaDonna Adrian Gaines (December 31, 1948 – May 17, 2012), known by the stage name Donna Summer, was an American singer-songwriter who gained prominence during the disco era of the late 1970s. She had a mezzo-soprano vocal range, and was a five-time Grammy Award winner. Benefits of Breastfeeding

Colostrum! I'm sure you have heard of that term. It is commonly referred to us as the "first milk". I have read several magazines about the benefits that Colostrum has to offer. It has the so called "antibodies" that helps you protect your newborn against disease. Compare to ordinary milk, it has higher protein too and has lower fats. This is most likely the reason why most health experts advise the mothers to breastfeed their child because breast milk has so many nutrients and health benefits that no other milk can offer.
It is indeed necessary for every mom to breastfeed their kids and help them grow healthier. However, not all moms are lucky enough to supply their kids with more milk through breastfeeding which most likely the reason why they make use of those commercial products to fill up those insufficiency. Well, good thing there were other effective ways now that moms can used to increase milk supply and that is in the nature of herbal products. I came across www.breastea.com and interestingly, i never thought that a herbal tea can help those women with low breast milk supply. It has a special herbal formula that works effectively to increase breast milk production. Keep in mind that responsible parenting begins here and so for your baby's health sake, breastfeed your child to protect him or her from any diseases.

Mobile and Infrared Saunas

I was watching a magazine show when a very interesting news caught my attention. It's all about this very unique mobile sauna of Finland. I have heard that there are some mobile saunas in US too which is very amazing. As what the term suggests, mobile saunas are saunas on wheels. Just think of the RV! Like those Recreational Vehicles which are complete with all those living amenities like kitchen, living room and bath room , these mobile saunas offer almost the same facility that a real sauna has.
Well, I have been to a sauna before and I really had a nice experience there too. But have you ever though of having your very own sauna at home? Is it possible? Yes it is! You can have those commercial infrared sauna(s).
This infrared sauna(s) uses infrared radiant heat unlike the those typical ones which uses air or steam to warm the body. It's very recommendable for busy people who can afford to have much time to visit a sauna. Aside from the convenience, these saunas is well known for their durability as well. It offers a nice and inviting design and whether you're aiming to have shabby , contemporary or modern style for your house, it will surely suits perfectly .
So would you like to have these saunas at home? Why not right?

Walk Away ~ Alanis Morissette

Here's another Pop-dance oriented song from Alanis. Walk Away is included in her first album entitled Alanis (released in 1991). Its protagonist sends a warning to her boyfriend who "never think[s] twice before [he] break all the rules", telling him "I'll walk away and say good bye if you don't want me anymore ... if I don't get the love we had before". The single's video features Matt LeBlanc as Morissette's boyfriend who arrives late for a date with her, and it includes scenes in which Morissette dances. The promotional single for the song includes a radio edit only. The song charted at number 35 in Canada."Walk Away" was one of the demo recordings Leslie Howe and Morissette created with keyboardist Serge Côté in the studio, after Howe and her entertainment manager Stephan Klovan had decided to try to secure a record contract for her.

Too Hot ~ Alanis Morissette

"Too Hot" is a pop-dance song co-written by Alanis Morissette and Leslie Howe, and produced by Howe for Morissette's debut album Alanis (1991). The song is driven by drum machines, electronic keyboards and a guitar, and Morissette's brothers Chad and Wade provided some of the backing vocals. In the chorus the song's protagonist tells a boy aspiring towards a goal that he's "Always too hot" and "never too cold", adding that his "best shot" is "too hot to hold"; with this in mind, she urges him to "go for gold". At the 1992 Juno Awards "Too Hot" received a nomination for "Single of the Year", and the song's "Hott Shot" remix was nominated in the category of "Best Dance Recording". ***My Note*** It's very surprising to see this kind of Dance Oriented songs from Alanis Morissette's album. I never thought that she would came up with such song ahaha. Anyway, be the judge, what do you think?

For me, it's really unusual to see her dancing LOL

Remembering Alanis Morissette

I know, i told you few days ago that I will not be sticking to a certain theme for this month but I changed my mind and I just can't help it LOL. I am not really into rock genre not unless you're referring to Alanis Morissette. Her music is simply stunning and creatively done. Alanis is a Canadian singer-songwriter, guitarist, record producer, and actress. She has won 16 Juno Awards and seven Grammy Awards, was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards and also shortlisted for an Academy Award nomination.
Her first international album was the rock-influenced Jagged Little Pill, released in 1995. Jagged has sold more than 33 million units globally. Alanis, is obviously our theme for this month so expect to see a lot of post showcasing her music and style.

I want to become a Pasty Chef

Will you believe me if i say that I wanted to become a pastry chef someday? Unfortunately, i'm way too far from it because I do not have any idea on how to bake. We do have some cook books at home but we don't have any equipments for it. I'm always fascinated by those gorgeous cakes that are being showcased at some notable magazines. I wish i have the skills to make at least some cup cakes or even some icings.
Well, it's not too late right? Cooking is a skill and you can always train yourself to improve. After all, there are many vocational courses right now that will teach you some basic baking and culinary techniques which can be very useful for an aspiring chef pastry like me.
But before taking any course, I may have to purchase some cooking and baking equipments first so that I can practice it myself at home too!
I think i would go for a complete set of KitchenAid Professional. The brand itself is known for being high in quality and highly versatile that can perform multiple functions. I actually went to http://kitchenaid-professional.com/ , a website that focuses more on KitchenAid products and provide necessary information about the items. I think this is a great way to start my dream to become a pastry chef. Am i too ambitious for it? haha

Part Of Me Debuted Strongly , Adele Sets Another Record

Starting today, I will be listing down the Top ten Songs from Billboard Hot 100. I will be doing this once a week. I am not sure if i will be sticking on a certain theme this coming months but I'll try my best to update Song to Remember (maybe at least every other day or thrice a week). Anyway, We got a very interesting list for this week. Katy Perry dethroned Kelly Clarkson's Stronger by her newest single "Part of Me" in which she performed in the recently held 54th Grammy Awards.

Part of Me is the sixth single from her Teenage Dream album to reach the Number One in Billboard Hot 100 along side with "ET", "California Gurls", "Teenage Dream" and "Fireworks". "Part Of Me" has a different approach for me though compare to her previous hits.
Adele on the other reigns the TOP 10 list with 3 of her songs made it through. "Set Fire To The Rain" holds the number 2 slot. Same thing with "Rolling In the Deep" on the fifth slot and "Someone Like You" on the seventh spot which sets her a new record for being the first female artist to have 3 singles in Hot 100
The Late Whitney Houston proved that she's truly a legend in the music scene as her "I Will Always Love You" went up to the 3rd Slot of Billboard Hot 100.
Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" debuted strongly but went down to fourth spot after being dethroned by Katy Perry.
Listed below are the Top 10 Songs from Billboard Hot 100 as of February 26, 2012
1. Part of Me ~ Katy Perry
2. Set Fire To the Rain ~ Adele
3. I Will Always Love You ~ Whitney Houston
4.Stronger ~ Kelly Clarkson
5. Rolling In The Deep ~ Adele
6. We Are Young ~ Fun Feat. Janelle Monae
7. Someone Like You ~ Adele
8. We Found Love ~ Rihanna
9. Starships ~ Nicki Minaj
10. Turn Up The Music ~ Chris Brown

Improving Security At Home

How much do you care about your family? Of course, their security should be your top most priority and as much as possible you keep them away from any sense of danger especially if you're not around. We cannot deny the fact that there are so many burglars, thieves or other sort of goons lurking everywhere seeking for opportunity to enter your house and do what they desired to do. Locking your doors and windows and having a dog outside is pretty much ideal for your house protection but these are not good enough to secure your home. We should not underestimate these burglars nowadays. They do have their own way now to enter your house without being noticed by anyone else. They are now aware of those alarms and how to get rid of being caught. What you need right now is a more secured protection. You can install hidden cameras at home to check and survey every corner of your house for any suspicious movements. TO make it more effective, why not use those spy cameras which are hardly noticeable and no one will suspect that a camera is being installed inside. You can have those wall clock hidden camera for your living room to detect any suspicious movements or those alarm clock hidden camera for your bed room (where we usually store our valuables) . Funny but you can use these cameras for your kids as well to monitor them while you are not around. Who knows, they might be holding a party without your knowledge? haha

To Warm Me Up

I used to wake up 2 am in the working to prepare my things before going to wo0rk. My shift starts at 6 am so i really have to wake up that early to avoid myself from getting late. I have 1 hour to prepare for everything and i have to be going around 3 am because if not, traffic will start to build up and i will be in a big trouble if ever. Anyway, i really don't mind waking up that early cause i got used to it already but it's just too stressing that i had to boil a pot of water everyday (which took most of my time every morning) to mix it with the freezing water i got in our bathroom before taking a bath. I just can't bear with that freezing cold water from the shower so i have to think of ways to warm myself. We just found the water heater leaking a few months ago so we didn't use it since then cause we're afraid that it cause us any trouble. We do not get much time to ask for someone to fix it either. They said that this leakage can damage your household easily that's why it should be checked in a regular basis to ensure if there's a possible leaking. Of course, fixing the heaters can be a "DO It Yourself" task as long as you have the skill and the right equipments to do such chore but if you do not have such skill, then better not to risk it and ask for an expert to fix it properly. Anyway, since we haven't find anyone yet to fix the heater, i have to bear with the hot water routine that i have.

My Sister a year from Now

A year from now, my sister Mirasol will be graduating from high school and she will soon be heading to college to take the career path that she wanted to achieved. As of now, we do not know what exactly she will be taking on college but i have a gut feeling that she will be taking a nursing course because i remember she has mentioned something about it before. But of course, by a year from now, there is no assurance that she will be sticking to her first choice. We cannot tell if she will be influenced by her peers or she will realize something that she can excel on a certain field. But choosing a health care career is definitely a good choice! Well first because nurses are highly in demand here and abroad which can give her an opportunity to work in a highly compensated companies. Having a nurse or any medical related profession in your family is such a great help too because you know there is someone to look after you when you’re sick. I wish i could take her to a nice school like that medical school san jose in California which offer a high quality education and known for producing great and professional nurses. Anyway, it is too early for me to conclude that she will be taking a nursing course next year. It will still depend on her own preferences and we will respect no matter what path will she would like to take.

Art Crafts and Pottery

My brother and I have been doing different art crafts for the past 3 years and we really have so much fun exerting both of our creativity and artistic side. I am really proud of little brother because at his very young age, we was able to produce great crafts. However, it is pretty sad that i became too busy with my work lately and we can hardly find quality time together to make some new art projects. Maybe I'll wait for my next vacation to make it possible for both of us to continue our hobby.
Actually i was aiming to take this hobby to the next level and have it as good source of income. I have seen some crafts online and most of them are truly hand made and highly personalized. I would like to learn on how make those key-chains and action figures from polymers clay or to discover more about pottery.
I remember, when i was in high school, we had a field trip and they took us on a big pottery business and they showed us how to make one. It's really fun though it might require a big space to occupy the equipments. It's quite messy too so you really have to work for it in huge environment. nevertheless, it is a nice business to work in.
Want to know how far this business can grow? Check the video here below and see successful this wholesale mexican pottery industry is.

Finding the Right Girl

Well, as what they say, no man is an island! A man will always seek for someone who he can be with for a life time. Someone who will take care of him, someone who will love him, and someone who will be on his side through thick and thin.
Being single or bachelor is nice because you do not have any commitments to fulfilled yet and you do not have any responsibilities over your head but you have to keep in mind that you cannot have this kind of status forever unless you are not really interested in getting into a serious relationship. I, myself, is not getting any younger and I might have to search for someone who i can marry and someone who will love and accept me the way I am. Though I know that I should not seek for it desperately because God has plans for me and I know he will help me find the right girl at the right time.
Well, since i am still single I might have to consider joining some dating websites and meet some new friends and who knows? I might find the girl of my dream over the web right? Though i don't think i will look for any of those available russian brides online because i am not planning to get married yet. Though i know some of my friends found their hubbies and honeys though dating sites as well so I'm sure it is not impossible to happen on my end too.
Anyway, what matters most is you love each other no matter how much boundaries you've e got on your way. For the mean time, let me enjoy m y single status first hehe

I DON'T WANT TO SPOIL THE PARTY ~ THE BEATLES

"I Don't Want to Spoil the Party" is a song by The Beatles, written primarily by John Lennon and credited to Lennon–McCartney. It was released on the album Beatles for Sale in the United Kingdom in 1964. In the United States, Capitol released the song on the Beatles VI album and also as the B-side of the single "Eight Days a Week" in 1965. The single peaked at number one in the US; it was not released in the UK. "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party" charted as a B-side, reaching number thirty-nine on Billboard. The lyrics revisit Lennon's familiar themes of alienation and inner pain. In this song, he is at a party, waiting for his girl to show up. When it becomes clear that she has stood him up, he decides to go, rather than spoil the party for everyone else. Both the lyrics and melody share a melancholy sound and theme with previous songs on Beatles for Sale, such as "No Reply" and "I'm a Loser". Rosanne Cash covered the song for her Hits 1979-1989 compilation. Her version went to number one on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart in 1989. It is also Cash's last number one hit to date.
