"Last Christmas" is a song by British pop duo Wham!, released on Epic Records in 1984, on a double A-side with "Everything She Wants". It was written by George Michael, one half of the duo. The song has been covered by many artists throughout the years. Wham! had been a dominant force in the UK Singles Chart in 1984 and news that they were planning a Christmas single meant that a battle for the coveted Christmas #1 spot in the UK seemed set to be between Wham! and the year's other big act, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, who had achieved a third #1 in early December with "The Power of Love". However, the Band Aid project, helmed by Bob Geldof, produced the #1 single. Wham!'s offering peaked at #2 for much of the period, although George's involvement in Band Aid meant that Wham! still had an input. Wham! subsequently topped the monies raised by Band Aid by donating all of their "Last Christmas/Everything She Wants" royalties to the Ethiopian famine appeal."Last Christmas" did make #1 in various other countries.

"I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" is a Christmas song with music and lyrics by Tommie Connor. The original recording by Jimmy Boyd reached number one on the Billboard charts in 1952, and on the Cash Box magazine chart at the beginning of the following year. The song was commissioned by Neiman Marcus to promote the store's Christmas card for the year, which featured an original sketch by artist Perry Barlow, who drew for The New Yorker for many decades.Jimmy Boyd's record was condemned by the Roman Catholic Church in Boston when it was released on the grounds it mixed kissing with Christmas. Boyd, age thirteen, was photographed meeting with the Archdiocese to explain the song. After the meeting, the ban was lifted. The song describes a scene where a child creeps down from his bedroom to see his mother kissing "Santa Claus" (presumably his father) underneath the mistletoe.Popular versions of the song were done by the Ronettes and the Jackson 5. John Mellencamp and the Secret Chiefs 3 have also covered it.

"Feliz Navidad" is a Christmas song written in 1970 by the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter José Feliciano. With its simple Spanish chorus (the traditional Christmas/New Year greeting, "Feliz Navidad, próspero año y felicidad" or "Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year ") and equally simple English verse ("I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas from the bottom of my heart"), it has become a classic Christmas pop song in the United States, Canada and throughout the Spanish-speaking world.

Feliciano's version of "Feliz Navidad" (in which he plays both an acoustic guitar and a Puerto Rican cuatro) is one of the most downloaded and aired Christmas songs in the United States and Canada. It was also recognized by ASCAP as one of the top 25 most played and recorded Christmas songs around the world.

"Silver Bells" is a classic Christmas song, composed by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans. The lyric is unusual for a Christmas song in that it describes the festival in the city and not a rural setting. "Silver Bells" was first performed by Bob Hope and Marilyn Maxwell in the motion picture The Lemon Drop Kid, filmed in July-August 1950 but released in March 1951. The first recorded version was by Bing Crosby and Carol Richards, released in October 1950. After the Crosby and Richards recording became popular, Hope and Maxwell were called back in late 1950 to refilm a more elaborate production of the song

"The Little Drummer Boy" is a popular Christmas song, with words and music by Katherine K. Davis. Henry Onorati and Harry Simeone have been credited with writing the song, even though they were only the arrangers for their recordings of it. The version that made the song popular was the one sung and recorded by the Harry Simeone Chorale. It is also known as the "Carol of the Drum". In 1957 Onorati arranged the song for a recording by the Jack Halloran Singers on Dot Records, but this version was not released in time for Christmas. The following year Simeone re-arranged the song yet again and retitled it for his Chorale's hit single version, which was issued on 20th Fox Records' 45-121 with a 45rpm picture sleeve, then on their LP called Sing We Now of Christmas, which became an enormous bestseller. In 1963 the company, now known as 20th Century Fox Records, retitled and reissued their album. It was now called The Little Drummer Boy: A Christmas Festival, in order to boost sales even higher, as the 45-rpm single had continued to be a seasonal hit.

"Give Love on Christmas Day" was a Christmas classic soul original by Motown family quintet The Jackson 5. It was released to R&B radio in 1970. The song was written by the famed label's songwriting-producing team, The Corporation.

The song is an ode to everybody to "give love on Christmas" because "no greater gift is better than love." The song became an oft-covered song in decades to come, re-recorded by The Temptations and by the kid band that follow the J5's footsteps, New Edition, for their 1985 Christmas album. It was given another overhaul by one of its other members, R&B singer Johnny Gill, in 1990 for an all-star Motown Christmas album. R&B group BlackGirl in 1994 and R&B singer Faith Evans has also covered the song live during a Christmas telecast in 2001.

"Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" is a Christmas song written by Johnny Marks and recorded by Brenda Lee in 1958 on Decca 9-30776. Although Decca released it in both 1958 and again in 1959, it did not sell well until Lee became a popular star in 1960; that Christmas season, it hit #14 on the Billboard pop chart and turned into a perennial holiday favorite. It continued to sell well during the holiday season, hitting #5 on the Christmas chart as late as 1984. Brenda Lee's recording still receives a great deal of airplay. Despite the song's title, its instrumentation also fits the Country genre which Brenda Lee more fully embraced as her career evolved. For decades, Brenda Lee's recording was the only notable version of the song. Radio stations ranging from Top 40 to Adult Contemporary to Country Music to Oldies to even Adult Standards played this version. The song has been covered by numerous artists, with one of the most successful versions being recorded by Amy Grant, Ronnie Spector with Darlene Love, The Forester Sisters, and a version by Kim Wilde and Mel Smith featuring Pete Thomas.

The version that made the song popular was the one sung and recorded by the Harry Simeone Chorale. It is also known as the "Carol of the Drum". The lyrics tell the apocryphal story of a poor young boy who, unable to afford a gift for the infant Jesus, plays his drum for the newborn with the Virgin Mary's approval. Miraculously, the baby, although a newborn, seems to understand and smiles at the boy in gratitude. The popularity of this song is to be seen by the quantity of cover versions of The Little Drummer Boy - a total amount of over 220 versions in 7 languages are known, in all kind of music genres. The song has been performed by classical orchestras, choral groups (both classical and popular), easy-listening stylists, rappers, rock groups and so on. "I'll Be Home for Christmas" is a Christmas song, written by Buck Ram, Kim Gannon and Walter Kent. In 1943, this song joined "White Christmas" to become one of America's most popular holiday songs. The recording by Bing Crosby shot to the top ten of the record charts that year and became a holiday musical tradition in the United States. The idea of being home for Christmas originated in World War I when soldiers at first thought that the war would be quick and they would return by Christmastime. This inevitably did not happen, hence the line "if only in my dreams". A song titled "I'll Be Home for Christmas" was first copyrighted on August 24, 1943, by Kent (music) and James "Kim" Gannon (lyrics). The two revised and re-copyrighted their song on September 27, 1943, and it was this version that was made famous by Crosby. The label on Crosby's recording credits "I'll Be Home for Christmas" to Kent, Gannon, and Ram. Later recordings usually credit only Kent and Gannon. The discrepancy arose from the fact that on December 21, 1942 Buck Ram copyrighted a song titled "I'll Be Home for Christmas (Tho' Just in Memory)"—that song bore little or no resemblance, other than its title, to the Crosby recording.

"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is a Christmas song introduced by Judy Garland in the 1944 MGM musical Meet Me in St. Louis. Frank Sinatra later recorded a version with modified lyrics, which has become more common than the original. The song was credited to Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane, although during a December 21, 2006 NPR interview, Martin said that Blane had encouraged him to write the song but had not had anything more to do with writing it. In 2007, ASCAP ranked "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" the third most performed Christmas song written by ASCAP members of the past five years. "Jingle Bell Rock" is the name of a popular Christmas song. It was first released by Bobby Helms in 1957 and has received frequent airplay during every Christmas time since then. "Jingle Bell Rock" was written by Joe Beal (1900–1967), a Massachusetts-born public relations man, and Jim Boothe (1917–1976), a Texas writer in the advertising business. t has been performed by many, but Helms' version is the best-known. Its title and some of its lyrics are takeoffs on the old Christmas standard, "Jingle Bells". It also makes brief references to other popular songs of the 1950s, such as "Rock Around the Clock", and mentions going to a "Jingle hop". An electric guitar played by Hank Garland can be heard playing the first notes to the chorus from the aforementioned "Jingle Bells". Despite being titled a Jingle Bell "Rock", Helms' version of the song was performed in the crossover style known as rockabilly, and to modern ears it sounds a lot more "country" than it does "rock and roll"

"Jingle Bells" has been performed and recorded by Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Dave Brubeck, Count Basie, Ray Brown, Oscar Peterson, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Mike Horsfall, The Hoppers, Boney M and Ann Hampton Callaway. "The Twelve Days of Christmas" is an English Christmas carol which enumerates a series of increasingly grandiose gifts given on each of the twelve days of Christmas. The Muppets' 1979 version of the song, accompanied by John Denver, employs the normal lyrics, with the humor coming from the Muppets' unique twist, such as Miss Piggy's continual overplaying of the "Five gold rings" line. The original version, performed on John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together, a holiday television special (5 December 1979), differs from the version on the album of the same name, with a slightly different line-up of Muppets and a running gag of Fozzie Bear forgetting his line several times, eventually being coached by Denver to chime in at the right time.

"We Belong Together" is a song recorded by Mariah Carey for her tenth studio album The Emancipation of Mimi (2005) and released as the album's second single in 2005. the song was inspired by 1980s R&B and soul. Its arrangement is built on simple piano chords and an understated backbeat, and its lyrics chronicle a woman's desperation for her former lover to return after their separation. Following a career-decline between 2001 and 2005, Carey achieved major worldwide success with "We Belong Together" as the song topped the charts in Australia and the United States (for 14 non-consecutive weeks). In the U.S., the song also repeatedly broke many BDS Airplay records and was warmly received by critics. It won Carey a number of industry awards, including two Grammy Awards in 2006. Billboard magazine listed "We Belong Together" ninth on The Billboard: All-Time Hot 100 Top Songs.

"When You Believe" is an Academy Award-winning song composed by Stephen Schwartz for the 1998 DreamWorks animated feature The Prince of Egypt. A pop version of "When You Believe" was produced as a single with additional music by writer-producer Babyface for the film's soundtrack album. It was the main theme of the film and was released as a single by American singers Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey as the soundtrack's first single in 1998; it was also the first single from Houston's album My Love Is Your Love and the second from Carey's compilation album #1's. Years of media speculation of a feud between Carey and Houston led to expectations that a duet would be a great hit and break many chart records, especially as Carey and Houston were successive record-holders for a single with the most weeks at number one. "When You Believe" was a hit, although it didn't make the top ten; rising as high as number 15 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. It fitted a trend of Carey singles at the time, peaking at 38 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay, but at 7 on the Hot 100 Single Sales.

As she leads him up the stairs, she removes her robe revealing black lingerie and begins to sing. She warns him that there better not be a camera in the room. The following scenes are a fantasy of the computer technician, including a pillow fight, laser tag, playing slot cars, a unicorn, and Carey in various sexy outfits. "Reflections (Care Enough)" is a song written and produced by American singer Mariah Carey and Philippe Pierre for Carey's eighth studio album, Glitter. The ballad has Carey, in character as Billie Frank in the film Glitter, reflecting on how her mother didn't "care enough" for her. The song is also featured on Carey's 2009 compilation album, The Ballads. "Reflections (Care Enough)" was released as the album's fourth single in late 2001, but wasn't promoted in the United States. Because of contractual obligations, Sony Music Entertainment, Carey's former record label and the international distributor of the Glitter soundtrack released a CD single for "Reflections (Care Enough)" only in Japan. A clip from the film Glitter in which Carey (as Billie Frank) performs the song in her apartment right after her character finishes writing it (the song is Frank's first attempt at songwriting) was used in Asia as a teaser for the film.

Honestly, I am not into gardening becuase i am not a "green thumbed" person and my time is not enough to manage everything. Last year, my auntie went back from Canada and bought us some gardening equipments. According to her, it would be better for us to learn such thing as gardening as it is a perfect hobby that will make us feel so relax and unwind after seeing those wonderful ornamental plants. It is true that having a colorful garden which is filled with different ornamental plants sounds good. It will also establish a great and very relaxing ambiance.
After my Auntie left us and went back to Canada, she leave all those heavy and bulky gardening equipments to us. Honestly, we are having a hard time looking for a place where to store these equipments. The space in our garage is not enough to accommodate them and i guess what we need is a metal garden shed to store everything into one place.
These metal sheds will protect these equipments from rusting and too much exposure into sun. Aside from these, i can also place my mountain bike inside this metal shed to lessen the occupied space in our garage.

"One Sweet Day" is a song recorded by American singer Mariah Carey and quartet Boyz II Me for Carey's sixth album Daydream, and was released as the album's second single in 1995. It holds the record for the longest run at number 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 (16 weeks total), and is one of the biggest American hits of both Carey's and Boyz II Men's careers. The song ranked at number 29 on Billboard's Hot 100 All-Time Top Songs. The single's music video, directed by Larry Jordan, is made up of footage showing Carey and Boyz II Men writing and recording the song in the studio, as it was difficult for both Boyz II Men and Carey to schedule a time to film a video.

"Obsessed" is one of the latest song by Mariah Carey from her twelfth studio album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. In July, the single debuted at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Carey's highest chart debut since 1998, and peaked at number 7. The video begins with Carey speaking the line, "And I was like, why are you so obsessed with me?" Next, she is seen stepping out of her limousine and entering the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Carey is later shown walking in various places, while clearly noticing that she is being stalked by a man wearing a gray hoodie and sweatpants. In various scenes of the video, Carey is shown avoiding the stalker as well as taking part in a photo shoot. Also in various scenes the video shows the stalker's room with Mariah wallpaper, blankets, dolls, posters, magazines, and countless other Mariah collectibles. As the video comes to an end, she waits for her limousine to arrive at the hotel. However, before she gets inside, she notices the stalker attempting to take a picture of her. She then looks directly into his camera and gives a smile. The video then shows the stalker again, still attempting to take a picture, right before a bus hits him. Carey gasps in shock after witnessing the incident. The video closes with more shots of the photo shoot. The scene where the stalker gets hit by a bus, and the opening line Mariah speaks, are both references to the 2004 film, Mean Girls.

"My All" is a song written by American singer Mariah Carey and Walter Afanasieff for Carey's seventh album, Butterfly (1997). It is built around a Latin guitar, Latin chord, and also makes subtle use of Latin percussion in the first chorus, before taking on a more conventional contemporary R&B-style beat. Its protagonist declares she would give "her all" to have just one more night with her estranged lover. "My All" was mixed by Mick Guzauski. "My All" at the time set a record, giving Carey her thirteenth number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the most by any female recording artist. "My All" ranks among one of Carey's most remixed tracks, and two maxi-singles were released in the U.S. The main R&B remix of this single is the So So Def remix, which features re-recorded vocals by Carey.

"Through the Rain" is a pop song performed by singer Mariah Carey. It was composed and written by Carey and Lionel Cole for her ninth studio album Charmbracelet (2002), and it was released as the album's first single in 2002. The song's protagonist is faced with many issues, but she overcomes them to make it "through the rain." "Through the Rain" had been expected to become Carey's comeback single following the failure of her soundtrack album Glitter (2001) and its singles. However, "Through the Rain" only reached #81 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and did not even enter the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay. The failure of the single led to the subsequent weak performance of the album Charmbracelet worldwide. "Through the Rain" was the most successful single carey released to date in the Philippines.

"Love Takes Time" is a pop song written by Mariah Carey and Ben Margulies for her debut album entitled Mariah Carey (1990). It was released as the album's second single in the third quarter of 1990. It was the first of several adult contemporary-influenced Carey ballads to be released as a single, and its protagonist laments the loss of a lover and confesses that "love takes time" to heal and that her feelings for her ex-lover remain. It became Carey's second number 1 single in the United States and Canada, but was only a moderate success elsewhere. "Love Takes Time" failed to emulate its U.S. success in any other market except Canada, where it topped the Canadian Singles Chart for one week. "Love Takes Time" reached the top ten in New Zealand. It did not make much of an impact elsewhere, becoming a moderate top twenty hit in Australia, and top forty hit in the UK and the Netherlands, but failed to reach the top forty in Germany.

"It's Like That" is a song CO-written by Mariah Carey for her tenth studio album, The Emancipation of Mimi (2005). The song also shared its name with another Run DMC song. It was the first single to be released from the album, in 2005. It was a top twenty hit in several countries, including the United States, and was nominated for a 2006 Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. "It's Like That" and "I Know What You Want" are considered to be Carey's return to prominence after major failures of her previous works. The protagonist of this club-inspired track declares that she "came to have a party" and briefly (jokingly) dabbles in alcohol and marijuana usage. She then notes that "it's her night" and relaxes, before chanting "It's like that, y'all."

"If It's Over" is a song written by singer-songwriters Mariah Carey and Carole King for Carey's second album Emotions (1991). King had originally suggested that Carey should cover her song "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman", but Carey refused, saying she preferred writing her own material and felt incapable of matching Aretha Franklin. Several months after the release of Emotions, Carey performed the song during her appearance on the television show MTV Unplugged, as the second number on her setlist. he protagonist of this big band-style track gets a case of the blues, and tells her lover that she loves him but that he should stop playing mind games, and "if it's over" he should let her go. The version on MTV Unplugged is an edit as it omits the second verse and chorus. Carey also gave a choir-backed performance of the song at the 1992 Grammy Awards.
