"(If There Was) Any Other Way" is a song from Céline Dion's English debut album Unison. It was released as the first single in Canada (March 24, 1990) and second in the United States (March 18, 1991) and the rest of the world (June 6, 1991). In the United Kingdom it became a promotional release only.The song was written by Paul Bliss and produced by Christopher Neil. There were two music videos made for the song: the first one was released in February 1990 for the Canadian market, and the second on March 6, 1991 for the U.S. The latter was directed by Dominic Orlando and filmed in Los Angeles, California and Vancouver, Canada. The two videos were included separately on Dion's 1991 home video Unison, depending on the Canadian or U.S. release.Two dance mixes exist and can be found on American promotional single. One of them (edit remix) was released on the "(If There Was) Any Other Way" commercial single in the United States. The second one (extended remix) appeared later on the U.S. "Love Can Move Mountains" single in 1992. The song reached number 24 in Canada and number 35 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 (number 56 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay). "(If There Was) Any Other Way" was more successful on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart peaking at number 8. According to Nielsen SoundScan it has sold 70,000 copies in the U.S.
