Louvre Museum and Arc de Triomphe

Did you know that aside from the Eiffel Tower, another popular attraction in Paris is the famous art museum of Louvre. Louvre Museum is well known for being the place of one of the world’s renown yet mysterious painting of Leonardo Da Vinci which is the Mona Lisa. Another great attraction would be the Arc the Triomphe. If you failed to make it to Eiffel tower and had a chance to view the entire vicinity of Paris, well, Arc de Triomphe is the best alternative way. It is not as high as the Eiffel but you can still view the entire city. It makes me realized how lucky the people are who lives near Paris like in Ashford for example because they only have to ride a train to visit the Paris. Ashford International is well known in Ashford and it routes many places in Europe including Paris.

"I've Never Been to Me" is a sleeper hit single performed by American singer Charlene Oliver née D'Angelo. Upon its initial release in 1977, the song reached number 97 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. In 1982, renewed interest in the song led to the single reaching Number 3 in the USA and Number 1 in the UK. The song also reached number 1 in Australia for six weeks. Charlene herself recorded a Spanish version of this song called Nunca He Ido A Mi with the spoken bridge portion intact. It was released concurrently with the English version. Charlene did two versions of the song. The version which was initially released was actually the second version which Charlene recorded. Her original version (which became more popular) has an expanded bridge, over which the singer makes an impassioned comparison between the non-committal "fantasy about people and places as we'd like them to be," versus the committed real love of a family.

Carpet Cleaners

Having a carpet in your house is somehow risky especially if one of the member of your family has an Asthma, a respiratory illness. Asthma is related to allergy. People who have Asthma are very sensitive. Inhaling a small dust from your carpet can make their health condition worst. A massive or extensive cleaning is very advisable. An ordinary dust fan is not effective enough to remove all the dust and dirt from your carpet. Even vacuum cleaners are not so worthy enough to trust. Cleaning your carpet by your own will be risky for those who have Asthma. If you can take the carpet out from your house, well, you better hire professional cleaners like Carpet cleaners Brisbane in Australia. It is very wise and very recommendable instead of you, manually cleaning your carpet. You can ensured your family's health with these guys and at the same time it can save more of your time in which you can spend it more with your family. How about you? Do you also consider hiring professional cleaners in your house?

WE ARE THE WORLD ~ USA FOR AFRICA

**************************
Bluedreamer's Choice No 24
**************************

"We Are the World" is a song and charity single originally recorded by the supergroup USA for Africa in 1985. It was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, and co-produced by Quincy Jones and Michael Omartian for the album We Are the World. The song was released on March 7, 1985, as the only single from the album. A worldwide commercial success, it topped music charts throughout the world and became the fastest-selling American pop single in history. The first ever single to be certified multi-platinum, "We Are the World" received a 4× certification by the Recording Industry Association of America. However, the song garnered mixed reviews from journalists, music critics and the public. Fans enjoyed hearing racially and musically diverse recording artists singing together on one track, and felt satisfied in buying "We Are the World", knowing that the money was going to charity. Other individuals, including many commentators in the rock press, were disappointed that the song did not challenge listeners as to why famines occur in the first place, and felt that the lyrics were self-aggrandizing.Awarded numerous honors—including three Grammy Awards, one American Music Award and a People's Choice Award—the song was promoted with a critically received music video, a home video, a special edition magazine, a simulcast, and several books, posters and shirts. Following the devastation caused by the magnitude 7.0 Mw earthquake in Haiti on January 12, 2010, a remake of the song by another all-star cast of singers was recorded on February 1, 2010. Entitled "We Are the World 25 for Haiti", it was released as a single on February 12, 2010, and proceeds from the record will aid survivors in the impoverished country. "We Are the World" has demonstrated that diverse musicians can productively work together, and has further influenced the movement within pop music to create songs that address humane concerns.

Bluedreamer's Choice No 23
**************************

"True Colors" is a song written by songwriters Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly. It was both the title track and the first single released from Cyndi Lauper's second album. It was the only original song on the album that Lauper did not help write. Billy Steinberg originally wrote "True Colors" about his own mother. Tom Kelly altered the first verse and the duo submitted the song to Cyndi Lauper. Their demo was in a form of piano based gospel ballad like "Bridge over Troubled Water". Steinberg told Songfacts that "Cyndi completely dismantled that sort of traditional arrangement and came up with something that was breathtaking and stark." Other songs they wrote for Cyndi Lauper include "I Drove All Night" and "Unconditional Love", the former of which went on to be covered by Celine Dion, the latter of which went on to be covered by Susanna Hoffs. It reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, #3 in Australia, and #12 on the UK Singles Chart."True Colors" also became a legend of its own in the gay community. Lauper embarked on a True Colors Tour in 2007 with several other acts including Deborah Harry and Erasure. The tour was for the Human Rights Campaign to promote human rights in the US and beyond. A second True Colors tour occurred in 2008.
