Barry Manilow recorded "Somewhere in the Night" for his 1978 album Even Now from which it was issued as the fourth single charting in December that year. His version went on to reach a #9 peak in early-1979. "Somewhere in the Night" is a popular ballad written by Richard Kerr and Will Jennings.
