THINK TWICE ~ CELINE DION

"Think Twice" is the fourth hit single from The Colour of My Love album by Céline Dion. It was released on July 18, 1994 in North America, in October 1994 in the United Kingdom, Australia and Japan, and February 1995 in the rest of the world. The song is rock-influenced and features a guitar solo, one of only a few of Dion's songs to do so, performed by Aldo Nova. The song was written by British songwriters Andy Hill, who had achieved success a decade earlier for his work with Bucks Fizz and Peter Sinfield, a former member of rock group King Crimson. "Think Twice" became a hit in Europe and Australia, particularly in the UK where it became one of the biggest selling singles of all time. Think Twice was included later on the European and Australian editions of All the Way… A Decade of Song greatest hits (1999) and European edition of My Love: Essential Collection (2008). Dion performed it lately during her 2008-09 Taking Chances Tour in in selected countries. "Think Twice" was covered by Alana Dante in 1996, Maribel Gonzalez in 1999 and Liel Kolet in 2005. It was also performed by Kelly Clarkson on American Idol.

MISLED ~ CELINE DION

"Misled" is the third single from Céline Dion's album The Colour of My Love. It was released on March 28, 1994. "Misled" topped the Hot Dance Club Play chart in the United States for 2 weeks. It was Dion's only number 1 on that chart, until 14 years after, when remixes of "Taking Chances" reached the same position, becoming Dion's second number 1 single on this chart. "Misled" reached top 10 in Canada (number 7), and top 40 in the United Kingdom (number 15), United States (number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay and number 52 on the Hot 100 Singles Sales), and New Zealand (number 31). According to Nielsen SoundScan the single has sold 115,000 copies in the U.S. It's the third Céline Dion single that was re-released in the United Kingdom, after "Where Does My Heart Beat Now" and "If You Asked Me To". "Misled" reached number 40 in April 1994 and later in November 1995 it peaked at number 15. The song was included later on the European edition of My Love: Ultimate Essential Collection in 2008.

THE POWER OF LOVE ~ CELINE DION

"The Power of Love " is the second (if counting "When I Fall in Love" as first) single from Céline Dion's 1993 album, The Colour of My Love. It was released on November 1, 1993 in North America, in December in Japan, and the next year in the rest of the world."The Power of Love" is the second Jennifer Rush song Dion has covered. Earlier the same year she recorded a French adaptation of "Higher Ground," called "Plus haut que moi." The song was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and an American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Single in 1995. "The Power of Love" became an international smash hit. The song rose to the top of the charts in the United States, Australia and Canada. In the U.S. it topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 4 weeks, the first Céline Dion single to do so. The song spent 12 weeks at the top in Canada and 70 weeks on the chart in total. "The Power of Love" was a top 10 hit in the rest of the world (number 3 in France, number 4 in the United Kingdom and Belgium, number 6 in Sweden, number 7 in New Zealand).

PLUS HAUT QUE MOI ~ MARIO PELCHAT AND CELINE DION

"Plus haut que moi" (meaning "Higher Than Me") is a duet between Mario Pelchat and Céline Dion, released as a radio single only, in Canada (September 6, 1993) and France (March 7, 1994). The song was taken from Pelchat's album, called Pelchat (February 1993). Dion included it on her greatest hits compilation On ne change pas in 2005. "Plus haut que moi" was written by Eddy Marnay, Ken Cummings and Mark Blatte. It is a French adaptation of "Higher Ground," performed by Jennifer Rush on her album Wings of Desire in 1989. Later, Dion covered another Rush's song, called "The Power of Love" which become one of her biggest hits.

"Plus haut que moi" was produced by Aldo Nova who already collaborated with Céline Dion on her previous albums, and by Tino Izzo. The latter worked with Dion again in 2005 on "Tout près du bonheur," and in 2007 on "On s'est aimé à cause" and "A World to Believe In."

"Plus haut que moi" is the last Eddy Marnay's song recorded by Céline Dion. Marnay wrote all her early French songs between 1981-1987.

WHEN I FALL IN LOVE ~ CELINE DION AND CLIVE GRIFFIN

"When I Fall in Love" was originally sung by Dorris Day and later recorded by Rick Astley. The version by Céline Dion and Clive Griffin was featured in the romantic comedy Sleepless in Seattle and released as a single on June 28, 1993 becoming one of the most acclaimed. It was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal in 1994, and won a Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist(s). The award went to David Foster and Jeremy Lubbock. The song appears on both, the Sleepless in Seattle soundtrack (number 1 on the Billboard 200 and 4x platinum RIAA certification for selling over 4 million copies in the U.S.), and later on Dion's album The Colour of My Love, released in November 1993. "When I Fall in Love" reached top 40 in few countries, including number 22 in New Zealand, number 23 in the United States, and number 37 in the Netherlands. It was popular on the U.S. Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks, peaking at number 6. In 1998, Anne Murray performed "When I Fall in Love" with Céline Dion live and included it on her DVD called An Intimate Evening with Anne Murray...Live. Later, this version appeared on Murray's 2007 album Anne Murray Duets: Friends & Legends.

WATER FROM THE MOON ~ CELINE DION

"Water from the Moon" is a song from Céline Dion's eponymous album. It was commercially released on March 1, 1993 as the fifth single in the United States. In Canada it was a radio single only. "Water from the Moon" was written by Diane Warren and produced by Guy Roche, with additional production by Walter Afanasieff. Diane Warren did also the background vocals. Two music videos were made for this song. The first one is entirely in black-and-white. Later, they modified the video to include additional footage of Céline Dion, colored brownish-yellow. "Water from the Moon" had a moderate success on the adult contemporary format. The song reached number 11 on Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks in the United States and number 13 on the Canadian Contemporary Hit Radio Chart. According to Nielsen SoundScan the single has sold 45,000 copies in the U.S.

LOVE CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS ~ CELINE DION

"Love Can Move Mountains" is a song from Céline Dion's 1992 album, called simply Celine Dion. It was released on November 2, 1992 worldwide. "Love Can Move Mountains" was the fourth single in the United States, Canada and Japan, and third in the rest of the world. "Love Can Move Mountains" (club mix) won a Juno Award for Best Dance Recording in 1993. The music video was made for the Daniel Abraham's 7" edit, by director Jeb Brian and released in November 1992. It appeared on Céline Dion's DVD video collection All the Way… A Decade of Song & Video (2001). The single was included also on Dion's greatest hits albums: All the Way… A Decade of Song in 1999 and My Love: Ultimate Essential Collection in 2008. "Love Can Move Mountains" was a hit on the club charts in the U.S., reaching number 3 on the Hot Dance Singles Sales and number 5 on the Hot Dance Club Play. It was Dion's debut on these charts. The single hit also top 10 in Canada (number 8) and reached number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S (number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay). It enjoyed a moderate success in the rest of the world. According to Nielsen SoundScan the single has sold 60,000 copies in the U.S.
